Man Raped And Burned Woman He Met On A Dating Site

The 24-year-old New Jersey woman met Seth Mull on a dating site and arranged the meeting in a hotel. She said that she found him attractive, he was fit, kind and quickly gained her trust.

After a few drinks and some music at a Pennsylvania hotel, she made clear to him that she doesn't want any sexual activities. Mull had other ideas, she took her hostage in his hotel room, raped her repeatedly and burned her with a lighter.

Authorities say Mull, 30, lured women online and pounced on them in person, forcing victims to be his "sex slaves" while using violence and drugs to exert control. Police have already charged Mull with raping the woman and two others at Pennsylvania hotels this fall. Mull has been in prison since his Oct. 28 arrest by Bethlehem police. he faces a preliminary hearing in one of the rape cases Thursday.

Mull forced the women he entrapped into prostitution and pornography, made them take cocaine and meth, choked them and threatened to kill them and their families to ensure compliance. Police discovered on his computers and phones that he had visited websites for human trafficking and sexual slavery. They also found written "sex slave contract" and dozens of pornographic videos and photos recorded with his phone, according to court documents.

She said that he was an expert manipulator. They could spend hours on the phone and she seemed like no time had passed at all. "We seemed to click so well" - she said. Week later they agreed to a first date.

Firstly, the plan was to meet somewhere outside, but Mull said that he's been partying with his friend and accidentally paid for an extra night at the hotel, so he invited her over. She wasn't happy about that but eventually accepted and met with him. Hours later, she found herself trapped in his room, unable to leave. He raped her, choked her until she vomited, burned her back with a butane torch lighter, forced her to take drugs and declared her as his personal property. Mull told her if she tried to leave, he'd kill her, her family and her friends. She didn't know if she could make it out.
